MEET OUR STAFF
RICHARD CASEY, LICSW
Richard graduated from Boston University School of Social Work in 1971 and has been working with individuals, groups, couples and families since then. He worked in an adolescent and family agency for 16 years before beginning his private practice. He has done alot of work with people dealing with adoption related issues and people struggling with addictions and their aftermath. He has taught in two graduate programs and has supervised graduate students for many years. He thinks of his style as flexible, attempting to help clients do their work in as comfortable a way as possible.
ROSEANNE DOLAN, LICSW
Roseanne sees individuals and couples. Primary areas of focus include substance abuse, family members of substance abusers, anxiety and depression and post-partum depression. Both brief, problem focused treatment and long term psychodynamic therapy are available.
Ms. Dolan's bachelor degree is from the College of the Holy Cross. Her master's degree is from Simmons Graduate School of Social Work. She has had post graduate training in substance abuse treatments, couples treatment and group psychotherapy. She belongs to the National Registry of Certified Group Psychotherapists.
ETHAN FIELD, LICSW
Ethan has been working with adults, families and adolescents with issues ranging from general mental health to substance abuse for over 12 years. His experiences include working in employee assistance programs, outpatient mental health programs, day treatment substance abuse programs, outpatient clinics, foster care agencies, psychiatric hospitals, mobile crisis teams and home-based crisis intervention teams. He recently relocated to the Boston area from New York City.
LAURA FISHER, PSYD
Laura Fisher, PsyD, has been practicing psychotherapy for 10 years. Her specialty includes working with adolescents and women who have trauma histories.
She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, graduate degree at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and completed an internship at UMASS Medical School. She completed a post-doctoral program at North Shore Children's Hospital in neuropsychology.
MARIA EDEN A. GIANAN, RN, BSN, MSN, CS, ANP
Maria has been with Adfiliare since March of 2005 working as a medication specialist. She treats adult through geriatric patients with various mental disorders like major depression, dysthmia, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD/ADD, post-partum depression and substance abuse.
She earned her associate degree from Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Hospital, Philippines, in 1981 and continued onto La Salle College to earn her BS in Nursing in 1982. She finished her MS in Nursing in 1990 from Boston College, majoring in adult psychiatric mental nursing. In 1990 she became a Board Certified Gerontological Nurse.
MARGARETTE MIKKOLA, LICSW
MADELINE GRUNBAUM NEVARD, MSW, LICSW
Madeline has been in practice for 32 years. She does adult individual psychotherapy and couples counseling.
Madeline received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College, Columbia University. She received her master's degree from Boston U. S. Social Work. She completed a certificate program in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
SUSAN VINCENT, LICSW, ACSW
Susan received her BA from the University of New Hampshire. She received her MSW at Boston University School of Social Work.
Susan has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults coping with issues of physical/sexual abuse/trauma, grief and loss, domestic violence, divorce, adult children of alcoholics, depression and anxiety. Areas of expertise include child play therapy, advanced certification in child/adolescent therapy, bereavement and hospice care, CBT.
CAROL ZIMMER, LICSW
Carol has been in practice for over 13 years. Carol takes a collaborative approach to psychotherapy, working with clients to develop an individualized plan for managing the problems that are impacting their lives. Areas of practice include relationships, stress management, depression and anxiety, and work with children and families.
Carol received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Queens College (CUNY). Her master's degree is from Fordham University. She has completed post-graduate training in family therapy at the Family Institute of Cambridge, and a program in post modern therapy approaches at the Salem Center.
